Change – ELISHA SEYITAN

Change animation penastoryNation tired of retrogression
Seek way to  uplift ourselves
We want a change
Where we do not need to beg for identity
Where without fear
Our currency we can change
Without fear from
The various range
We will get from
The economic disparity
With the west

Suddenly it came
Transformation against change
Change the common man want
Transformation to the lowly
Is the comfort of the rich

All roads led to the box
One by one the thumbs
Played it liberating role
So it came change in Changing forms

Change in the corridors of power
Change, bringing forth uneasiness
The mind is weary
The soul yearns for Egypt

But all we need is a vision
A notion of what it will be
When we can cast our minds
Back to the past and bless the future
Where our lands will not be a curse
To our collective identity
Where we are who were  are
A product of long suffering
To await the glorious days

About PenAStory

PenAStory is a group of young individuals with a passion for literature who have decided to come together to write under one platform. We seek to educate, inform as well as entertain our readers. Also, because we are targeting young literature lovers, we would like to touch on other interests of their lives hence the relationship category and because we all need a bit of motivation in our lives, we decided inspiration won't be so bad
