Dear Gabriel,

dear gabriel penastory

Have been waiting on stolen patience

Been looking but never seeing

Hearin’ but never listening

To my own Angel

Have been sinning on pretense

Falling to pieces

Casting lots over love –

To my own Angel

You never leave me

Dear Gabriel, temptations normal

Least I fall – do I fall?

Would I dash my foot to rock?

Should you stay to wait me?

Free my falling from Eden

To my own Gabriel.
