I have always wanted to be loved
At least to be shown true love
You know like in the movies
Not Titanic, Casablanca or Romeo and Juliet
Sure they were all love stories
But happy endings they had not
Not the kind I have always wished for
Someone who would call me at 5 in the morning only to sing a song to me
True love that could flaunt me anywhere and everywhere
I heard breakfast in bed is so romantic
I wanted to try it out with my lover
Tall dark and handsome everybody wants
But who cares if mine is not
All I wanted is  to be treated like a baby
My oh My!
I could go on and on
Throw your critic daggers
Pity me because you think I am a disgrace to manhood
Can I deny who I am or what I want
Alas true love came by
Almost the perfect one
I thought I had found true love
I thought my silent prayers had been answered
Even though there was a rival
Good things they say are not meant for just one person
An unexpected storm came through on a sunny afternoon
I guess I had not reached my destination
The search continues…

About PenAStory

PenAStory is a group of young individuals with a passion for literature who have decided to come together to write under one platform. We seek to educate, inform as well as entertain our readers. Also, because we are targeting young literature lovers, we would like to touch on other interests of their lives hence the relationship category and because we all need a bit of motivation in our lives, we decided inspiration won't be so bad
